News 8/6/00 If sturm und drang hip hop strikes you as just a teeny bit mainstream, then consider the other band in attendance in this truly off the wall one off GIANT TANK, Edinbugh's only nine piece free jazz and electronics improv group. According to m****, giant tank "are the band that best exemplifies what h**** of d***** are all about. The man behind it all, Ali Robertson, has a vision of chaos and ridiculing all art and giant tank is his weapon to do that. Robertson's assault will be strengthened by ten ballet dancers for the first and quite possibly last time. Ballet dancers will enter the stage one by one. Throughout the course of half an hour they will dance more and more ferociously to the extent that by the end it's not giant tank playing, but the ballet dancers." Rory Ford.
